Joining JDate

JDate is regarded by many as being the premier jewish dating site on the net, boasting millions of members. It offers users free registration, which allows you to post your profile, search and browse through other member profiles. In order for you to be able to email potential friends/dates, you must become a premium member. To join JDate, you have to fill in 4 screens with such information as physical characteristics, lifestyle and personality traits and interests.

It's quite a thorough sign-up process. The more details you provide, however, the greater the chance of finding people who have similar interests to your own. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the full registration.

The JDate Site

The site is pleasanlty attractive, and contains a nice browsing system. Searching for matches is easy and you can even modify the search results based on criteria like how close they are to your location, most viewed members, newest members and most active members.

The free membership doesn't really restrict your ability to search and offers customisation of your results based on preferences, interests and the ideal traits of your ideal date.

Premium subscription allows you to fully communicate and email others, with prices starting at £34.95 for 1 month, 3 months ($99.95 and $33.95 per month after), 6 months ($149.00, $24.95 thereafter).
